At the moment there is a very cool show on ITV (UK), searching for the next Sophie and Sky in Mamma Mia. All the performances and workshops, etc, are on their official youtube channel.
The auditions take place in Greece and it's really fun to watch. There is no audience voting involved this time. Amber Riley and Samantha Barks are in the panel of judges.
I though some folks here would appreciate this too. I have been watching all video's from oldest to newest and loved it. They are 3 weeks in now.

I think at the end of this series the judges will decide who gets to play the roles.
That is the point of this reality series - to find the next cast replacements for the roles of Sky and Sophie in the UK production. What did you think this competition series was for? S**ts and giggles?

Haha well, there's also casting directors, producers, audiences (who usually decide in these kind of shows), so my point was about who will decide. Not what they decide.
The panel is also involved in actually playing the scenes with the candidates, etc. They have a more workshop/mentor kind of role. But I read that they are the ones to decide in the end. (after consultation with the casting director and producers I suppose). In any case, no audience voting.
Did you really not understand that? Do you like the tv show too?
