Managed to see him on 3 memorable occasions:

1) In a free concert of Kern's Sunny at Orchestra Hall in Chicago; Summer 1989

2) As the Baron in Grand Hotel; Chicago 1991, and

3) In Buskers with Tommy Tune; Houston, July 1995.

I don't know why this is a thread but yes, 100% I would love to see him originate another role or at least get a great part in a revival. He's still my favorite Fred/Petruchio in Kiss Me, Kate.
