George Clooney sounds like a good idea. That would have worked.
Zeta-Jones? I know people don't share my view of her but I wish she'd retire from film.

Because if you have a perspective of what the films it is based on - then you see hwo awful it is?
Doris Day and Cary Grant in "That Touch of Mink"
Renee And Ewan in "Down with love"
They don't even breathe the same air - not of the same planet - and i like both of them a lot!

Renee looked great as Addy's icon in her pink costume
The movie left both of us staring mutely at the screen - which I don't think was the intent. And we like both of those actors very much.

I mean - there are NO Laughs! NONE!!
Watch Doris do her telephone scene in "Touch of Mink" when she is accepting that date with John Astin - You fall on the floor laughing!!
"Oooo I would love to go out with you (rolls eyes) Oh yes, well you are quite handsome (gags)".....
It's stunning!!

Posted: 8/29/05 at 9:19pmThe first time I watched Down With Love, it was directly after The Matrix: Reloaded. My friends and I needed something- anything- to recover from that trash. So in comparison to the overblown crap of Reloaded, Down With Love was a delight. I didn't like it as much when I later saw it on DVD. Ewan McGregor was a bit too...smirky is the best word I can come up with. It seems to be a terminal problem with him.

GAH. I'll try not to react to that Plum, as anything I can say to that will be extremely unintelligent.
Seriously though, George Clooney? No thank you..I like him but not for Catcher Block... and I'm obviously the only one who didn't enjoy Intolerable Cruelty....see I don't even know for sure that that was the title....it's not that I didn't like the 2 actors in it but I just didn't like the movie
But that has NOTHING to do with Broadway
