Apparently she is understudying Elphaba and then replacing Julie Reiber as stand by in december..this true?

I saw her in May '05 and was very impressed with her acting, though her singing and charisma could have been stronger.

Julie has definitely returned for about 6 weeks to replace Jen DiNoia who has gone to Australis for 6 weeks.

The unconfirmed rumor part has to do with whether Maria Eberline is actually becoming a standby after Julie leaves...that is if Jen doesn't come back. What?

In light of this, it now appears that whether Jen is coming back might be open to question also.

I wish somebody could clear all these standby shifting rumors up once and for all.

No, she's definitely returning for 6-8 weeks- she confirmed this herself. They just haven't updated the cast board in the lobby because Jennifer DiNoia, who has begun performances in Australia, is still on the board.

Maria was on Broadway earlier this year according to her website but I don't think she's back at this point in time.

^She was there filling in for Chelsea Krombach when she was doing another show somewhere else for a few weeks.
