Impressive cast...I'll certainly be watching.
"Damian Lewis (Homeland) will play Henry VIII in Masterpiece’s Wolf Hall on PBS.
The program will follow the meteoric rise of Thomas Cromwell (Mark Rylance) in the Tudor court, from his start as a blacksmith’s son to Henry VIII’s closest advisor. Claire Foy (Little Dorrit) will play Anne Boleyn in the six-part mini-series written by Peter Straughan (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy)."

Wolf Hall has just transferred from RSC's Stratford Upon Avon to London's West End, the run is virtually sold out, so could possible heading over to Broadway sometime soon.
Anyone know if the BBC presentation is in any way related to the stage production — aside from the source material novel, obviously? Do they share writers / producers / etc.? Wondering if the Billy Eliot template, with some creatives contributing to both film and stage production, is something we'll be seeing more of.
