Wow, he wasn't with the show very long there.
His stay was always planned to be a limitd one, Dottie.
Bob will be launching the national tour of the show in the fall (though I don't know if he'll be with that company for a short or extended period of time.)
I'd always heard he ideally wanted to come back to the Broadway production, but I'm not sure if that's still in the cards.
His wife is pregnant and is expecting mid-July. He is also opening the tour for the Toronto leg of the tour. The combination of those factors is why he is leaving London.
Martin's wife, Janet Van De Graaff, is due to give birth in mid-July, the actor told the Star. His London appearance will last less than two months.
The Drowsy Chaperone is part of Dancap Productions' first subscription season in Toronto.
Martin enthused to the Star, "Can you believe how wonderfully this has all worked out? I'll be back home, I'll be with Janet and the baby, and I'll be performing our show at the Elgin Theatre. I can't tell you how thrilling it is."

Er. Oh.
Better see it again before he leaves, then.
Here's the full story from the Toronto Star. He sounds very excited!
