Has anyone seen this one? I'm reading about new songs, which I always thought was underrated. I've always thought Martin Guerre's problem was never the score, which has at least four things better than anything in Miss Saigon. It was that they rewrote the book so many times in previews that nobody involved could tell you what the show was about by opening. A theatre like the Old Vic, with a fixed run and no commercial pressure to keep tinkering, is exactly the environment that show never got.
