Umm, do you not remember the grosses for the last Broadway revival of LOVE LETTERS (with rotating casts) --- not exactly a "cash grab" for anyone involved...

It's a foolproof play. Even the Zoom reading with Bryan Cranston and Sally Field made me tear up.
I also count myself lucky that I saw Alan Alda and Candice Bergen in the Broadway revival.

Yes, I remember them vividly -- perhaps ATTEMPTED cash grab is the better phrase.
I just don't know why Irish Rep and now the KenCen are spending time on this.

At least Martin Sheen finally gets to do it after his Broadway run was canceled and the pandemic scuttled this production
