Tonight was the opening, and my first time seeing the show. What a talented cast! I really enjoyed Ashley and Gavin a lot. The show itself felt a bit long to me but, to be fair, I am not feeling 100% and was not able to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. That's not to say I didn't have a good time. The show is definitely fun. And kudos to all of the very well behaved kids around me (though I did want to tell the little buggar in front of me to STOP LEANING FORWARD!) Dick Van Dyke came onstage at the end to say a few words which was quite a treat in itself. I think it will have a very nice run here at the Ahmanson.

Just got home from seeing the show and I couldn't agree more. Ashley and Gavin were brilliant as well as the rest of the cast. The design is amazing and the production as a whole is so well put-together. Definitely going back before they leave in February. =D

Oh, I went to see 'Parade' at the Mark Taper Forum today and saw they were preparing cameras and a themed wall near the Ahmanson box office. Looking forward to seeing Ashley and Gavin at some point!
