Matilda - Broadway cast recording??

Does anyone know if they will be making a Broadway cast recording for Matilda or is the London recording the only one that will be available? Thanks for any info!

Supposedly there will not be a Broadway cast album.

The good news is that the RSC album is excellent.

With two of the main actors recreating their roles and extremely minor changes to the score I really don't see them spending the money to make a new recording.

I feel like more often than not, they don't make new cast recordings for London transfers. I would be very surprised if they did for Matilda.

Given all of the changes, SISTER ACT really deserved a new cast recording. But that didn't even get one.

Thank god we were able to record LEAP OF FAITH for the ages though *thumbs down*
