So what if they're gay. Maybe he has had an ex-GF. Maybe he's BI. What does it matter. He's extremely talented and a nice guy and that is all that matters.

Gee, look what I miss when Im out for the day.
Matthew is straight, has many ex-girlfriends (heh) and his current girl is an olympic softball player not a swimmer. Matt & Clarke Thorell were called the straightest men on Broadway at the curtain call for their last day in Hairspray.
Flip flops and messenger bag- thats more of an influence of growing up in LA.
