I dont think shes either of those things, and I can only verify that its a story he tells, I certainly wasnt there to witness it myself! Matt has said he would want to be a midwife like his dad if he were not an actor.
Im sure tho that his father was there with him & the pregnant lady was probably told- I think a woman would notice if someone was delivering her baby that she did not want doing it, no? I think I would notice!
How FUNNY. Great story betty! :0)
How embarrassed am I to have this icon right now?
Legally, one is required to be licensed in order to practice midwifery...there may be different levels of education that are required, but always a license. So it kind of doesn't matter if the pregnant woman knew or not...
I'm pretty sure most bway performers know of bww.com cuz Craig does a good job of promoting it to all of them.. At least I see him at a lot of events in his shirt talking to all different performers.. and I'm sure some read some doesn't.. Also I'm sure Matt would be 100% capable of setting up his own account if he wanted to..
Well, I don't know how Matt knew Bway Betty, but this shows once again that, besides very talented, he is a fantastic, down to earth, great guy who cares about his fans !!!
And I believe every word Mistress says, because she is always honest !
LOVE LOVE LOVE him!
I wonder if Matt's lurking around here with his very own mysterious moniker...hmmm.....Maybe Broadway Betty IS MATT MORRISON!!!

Okay, I don't mean to say this and sound like a prick... so please know that I'm not trying to. But... does Matthew like guys or girls? Ok thanks!
This thread is a little mini BWW Freakout all on its own. Love it.
Wait, I just went back and read- Mistress---MATT'S NOT A VIRGIN?!?!
Wait a minute...and you're DISCUSSING THIS ON A BROADWAY MESSAGE BOARD?
on a side note...
how much do we love that "What's the line between a fan and a stalker" thread? It makes me smile a little...and vomit at the same time. Just thought I'd reference that thread........

Matthew's sexuality was discussed in a topic no more than two weeks ago, Im sure you can find it.
Camthom, I was discussing an article, which I listed, that mentioned it.
Sorry kiddies, Ill be gone for the rest of the day (going to the softball games, the ASU CD signing and probably a show) hopefully someone else will keep you all entertained while Im gone.

I remember when I broke into Matt's dressing room to steal a pair of his used underwear out of his hamper, I took a sniff before I was going to stuff the underwear into my pockets. Suddenly Matt appeared in the doorway. He gruffly said, "Put those underwear back in the hamper, and get out of here and never darken my door again and I won't press charges, BroadwayWorld.com's Papalovesmambo."
I don't know why he thought I was Papa. But man was I relieved. As I ran past him I muttered "Vote Bush" to keep up the illusion.
I thought not pressing charges really showed how down to earth and talented Matthew is.
Speaking of midwives, just last weekend I saw a bumpersticker that said:
Midwives help people out.
Testing
Just to clarify Matt's possible role in delivering a child, I delivered both of my kids. Actually, the doctor did most everything, but I got to unwrap the umbilical cord, hold them by the shoulders, and rotate their bodies, and deliver them the rest of the way. Then the doctor took over (I did cut the umbilical cord) with everything else, including the afterbirth.
It is very possible that Matt -- I hate referring to people I haven't met by first name, don't you? -- performed a similar role. This is not the same as actually delivering a child and is usually referred to by physicians and midwives as merely "catching" the child, though I always call it "delivering" because it makes me feel important.
Also, he may read BWW (back on topic now)

Same here. As I held my newborn son in my hands I had never known it was possible to feel such love for another human being. Not the kid, but the woman from the adoption agency in the waiting room. I cut the cord, handed Junior to the doctor and said, "Good luck, kid!"
I think this thread represents WHY Broadway professionals don't read or come to BWW.

Yes they do. As I ran out of Matthew's dressing room without his dirty underwear, I could see that Harvey's laptop was logged onto both All That Chat and Manhunt.
Matthew Morrison reads EPSN.com while he sips his grande mocha latte at Starbucks, end of story.
That's very cool!!!!!! I wonder what his little screen name is??????
Wow. This thread descended into hero-worshipping madness rather quickly. Now do you love Mr. Morrison or do you appreciate him? There is a difference.

that is very cool. Glad he didn't randomly start screaming the fan/stalker thread... although that would have been entertaining! I doubt if he posted here that he would reveal himself for fear of the millions of pms from the teenagers.... and crazed stalker people! Sounds like he's a sound geezer though!
Wow! Ya'll scare me! Dude, he's just a normal guy like everyone else. So he's in a Broadway show. Big woo! Talk about the thin line between obsessed fan and stalking. I've never been effected by someone's 'celebrity'. I know famous people and it just doesn't phase me in the least bit. They are regular people. How would you feel if people treated you the way that some of you treat and or talk about them?
