I'm sure if you were to e-mail Mr. Morrison he'd be happy to respond to you. That is really the mark of a true actor, one who is willing to respond to and nurture an interest in ones own career and in the artform they represent. I have sent letters and e-mails to a dozen high profile musical theatre composers, actors, actresses, designers, directors etc. They have all been so very down to Earth and reasonable.

They just want to learn and to teach and to understand. Putting them up on a pedestal is inappropriate, rather than hero worshipping, just learn to respect and appreciate their work. It is much more satisfying.

For those of you encouraging us to view actors as normal people, I totally see where you're coming from and is good to an extent. I can be quite starstruck and used to be very shy around broadway stars, but now I can be quite talkative--remembering that they're normal people is especially helpful for at least being able to talk to them. However...I kinda like looking up to them and admiring them. I like the fact that I'm excited that I get hugs or kisses on the cheek from a few that know me, that I get excited that they know my name. That extra excitement is lost if I think of them as any other friend. It doesn't mean I treat them especially different, but it's a reason I'm not sure I'd wanna get too close to any of them, the magic would seem lost. I think as long as admiration is healthy, and hopefully you can overcome shyness, there's nothing wrong with being a tad starstruck.

"If there was a Mount Rushmore for Broadway scores, "West Side Story" would be front and center. It snaps, it crackles it pops! It surges with a roar, its energy and sheer life undiminished by the years" - NYPost reviewer Elisabeth Vincentelli

Actors aren't normal. I mean, look what profession they chose!

Just joking.

Or am I?

I am.

Or...

No, definitely am.

I used to be a labor and delivery nurse and I've only birthed two babies by myself, thank God. Where was Matthew Morrison when I needed him?

Really? I had no idea he got a restraining order. Punk.

But look at it this way: you won't have to worry about getting peed on by frizzly, unidentified earthlings.

frizzly is another word I made up so I do not have to think of the real word. Think of grizzley meets Frizzy.

thistletwat is the character in Q - you should know that~

Matt seems like a great guy. When I was playing "Chuck" in Footloose, he sent me tips on the part.

"This thread is a little mini BWW Freakout all on its own. Love it."

Me too, Addy! It's like a battle over who Matt knows.

I think that if he does indeed visit this site, a thread like this may make him a little uncomfortable....(but I guess he has probably encountered a lot of starstruck girls that blurt out odd proposals to him)
