Saw him 3 times in "Dorien: The Musical" in Denver. Loved the show.
Obsessed with his instagram. He is aging quite nicely.

No, you are not. That production was gorgeous, and I'm not just talking about Mr. von Essen (who was wonderful).

He was shirtless (briefly) in McCarter's Murder on the Orient Express. Which may have been the best part of that bore.
He was so freaking cute in the tour of Xanadu!

Max is awesome. I loved his vlogs when he was at An American in Paris. I ended up sending him a letter and he sent me a nice message on social media. I also got to meet him at the Stagedoor and he was equally as charming. Such a cool guy and experience. ![]()

My 8 year old grandson is the dance expert in the family. ( He thinks the judges on DWTS are much too lenient!) so I took him to AN AMERICAN IN PARIS Broadway because I knew it had lots of dancing. Through a friend, we arranged for Max to meet us backstage after the show and he couldn't' is have been nicer. He gave the little guy a backstage tour, let him try on some costumes and treated the boy like a prince. My grandson still talks about it.

My dream cast for SUNSET BOULEVARD: Max Von Essen as Joe. Loretta Swit as Normal. Sigh!
