Me Singing......Critique?

Hey everyone! I just wanted to get some opinions on my singing, because the only opinions I ever get are from parents and friends, so they usually give me the same comment over and over: "You did so good!" But I need a little bit more than that! :) Please give me any constructive criticism! Thanks! (I hope this is the right board to put it on)

I'd be careful asking for critiques here...folks have a tendancy to be vicious.

You certainly have a nice voice and lots of confidence which is a great combination. For ME....you riff way too much...I prefer hitting the notes cleanly with only an occasionaly riff for effect.

You have a solid instrument and a good timbre. I didn't think you got carried away with the riffing but dramamama's advice is something you should keep in mind for future material.

I found Make Them Hear You a little rushed. You could use some rubato in some places so you can really build it. A little more legato would help as well. Some of your phrasing was too choppy. Your family and friends are right though. You did well! Best wishes.

Your voice is great. But it does not look like you are acting that much and the facial expressions could use a little work but overall good. 3.5/5

Wow, you sound really good! You do need to work on annunciation and definitely acting a little more. Because to me that is the key. You can be a great singer but if you can't give yourself to the song 100% emotionally than it just becomes boring. But other than that, you definitely have the basis to become great one day!
