I was hoping the list on IBDB was wrong. One of my favorite numbers was cut, and I'm very disappointed. This happened with 13, too. The final version of the LA production was pretty great, and then they "fixed" it, and it tanked in NY.

She really does steal a lot of the scenes...she had me cracking up!

No surprise here that you would be bashing Steph yet again. She steals just about every scene that she is in(especially the pot smoking scene).

Shut up, Val. It's also not surprising that you jump in to defend your "friend" Steph. We know she is nice to you at the stage door.

To say nothing of the fact that I didn't "bash" her. I merely stated that her performance was not the least bit spectacular.

Since when did saying you didn't like someone's performance in the show become "bashing," Val?

If not liking someone's performance equals bashing them, than you've done quite a bit of bashing yourself....much of it based on performances you never even saw live in the theater.

I'm with you adamgreer ... I was not impressed with Block either. Thought she was out of her element and looked very uncomfortable. Of course, I thought the whole show sucked, but Block was especially disappointing.

WestVillage, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say her "looking uncomfortable" was a character choice. Her character is very passive, and most of the time out of her element. I thought her character was the only one who had any sort of an arch.

If I don't like someone's performance I don't go about posting it on messageboards where that performer can read about it. Which you do all the time.

HAHAHAHA. Why is it, that talking to you is equivalent to trying to have a discussion with one of my 14-year old students? You really don't have a clue, do you?

If performers are concerned about what someone writes on a message board, than they're in the wrong profession. Particularly when all I said was that I didn't like her in the show. THAT IS NOT BASHING.

Holy crap, you mean like a review? Where the actors performances are critiqued & hopefully changed where people find faults?

It's art. It's all subjective.

I think the musical Brooklyn is a horrible piece of garbage, but there are people on this site who have it listed among their favorite shows. So who knows.

Why do we ALWAYS have to witness these petty fights between adamgreer and DefyingGravity777? Good lord...it's like everytime she posts someone jumps down her throat. Just freaking ignore her...no one wants to read it.

Nick is jealous of me Conor. As is TS3 and DG07. So everytime I'm gonna post something they are of course gonna say something about it. They have no life and it's their entertainment.

Sorry to everyone else on here. I will leave this thread now since Nick and DG07 are not worth arguing with. I do have a life and need to get back to it instead of this crap with children.

You guys are making it personal by bringing my job and schooling into it.
