Rewatching this clip of her singing tonight. What show would you want to see her in? I think she would be an amazing Mame.

I'd love to see her in a full production of Guys and Dolls. I heard she was wonderful when it was done at Carnegie Hall last year.
Also, I think she could be an interesting choice for Diana in Next to Normal.

If she could sing it, I think she would be an amazing Liz/Beth in If/Then. I think she'd nail the comedic moments and the dramatic ones too.

Megan was perfection as Miss Adelaide at last year's Carnegie Hall concert. I would gladly pay to see her in that role again.

She's closer to 60 than 50 at this point. Far too old for the roles in IF/THEN, and otherwise, they're not exactly roles that would play to her strengths.
I've long thought Mullally could be a credible choice for a revival of DEAR WORLD, personally. I could also see her in roles like Mame, Dolly, or Mrs. Lovett.

She's the rare Hollywood name who could sing Sally's material in a film adaptation of Follies but I'm sure Rob starfu€£er Marshal will have Meryl warbling her way through In Buddy's Eyes.

Lovett would be very interesting! It would be brilliant or disastrous. In my mind I see it as brilliant.
Also, she may be close to 60, but in my opinion, she doesn't look a day over 45.
