It's not just his opinion. There are many people who think that, including myself. I saw herrecently myself and she looks about 80. And don't say 'nobody' wants to hear it. YOU don't want to hear it, and I'm sorr,y but people do have opinions that may differ from yours.

Um, no. This is a board where we express opinions, whether YOU agree with them or not. And just to shock you-that opinion is shared by many people. Get over it.

Gee for some one who only saw RENT for Melanie and disliked it anyway, how would you know what is the right "look" for the part?

Well sorry to break your heart but not EVERYONE in the world bows down to your goddess. People will have different opinions-you don't need to agree with them but you need to respect them, something you seem to be having a lot of trouble with.

I'm very curious to see her now. I expect by the time I get to NYC, she'll look either 6 or 300 and crack every D, G, B-flat and on every fourth use of the word "that". Sounds like an exciting night at the theatre!

I believe I've seen her more times than you have, and like you said...it's just an OPINION, right? . I don't know how old you are, but bashing people because of their personal opinions...now that's just not right, is it?

um.. I never even said that I disliked it so dont put words in my mouth, I even said that the show wasnt that bad when Mel B wasnt there. I have seen other characters for Mimi and I think Mel B looks perfect for Mimi.

Like I said that person is a Mel B hater because no one would think that she's 50 unless you are really blind. That person didnt even see the show, I'd love for that person to see the show and then have an opinions.

I do recall you saying that you were "bored" at RENT when Mel B wasn't there.

I'd like to hear another review of the show from someone who ISN'T a huge fan of Mel B, because as MelB4evr portrays, fans are bound to be blind to any little imperfection. So were there any non-Mel fans at her first performance?

I never said she was perfect, Yes she did have some parts that she could of sang better but I still think she did an amazing job and i'm sure a lot of non-fans would agree with me.

1.It was her first night.
2.Her voice wasnt completely cured.
3.she never claimed that she had the best voice.
4. She didnt do bad at all, I was surprised.

Okay, I'm not saying she's a bad singer. But she just doesn't fit on that stage at all. She doesn't have any spark, or something to make her unique, and she just doesn't have any beauty to her voice. It could be anyone up there singing. She cracked a LOT, and really needs to work on hiding her accent.

sure I could explain it, if anyone would think she's 80 then then they really need to open their eyes cause obviously their seeing things. Oh its not about logic anyway, its what I believe and just shows how narrow-minded you are by correcting a tiny spelling error.

Okay and exactly how MANY of you went to see the play?? Or are you guys just making stuff up because you hate the Spice Girls or whatever?? I'm sure she did well and she'll do better as time goes on.
