I dont see why you cant just teach us history, instead of always harping on the past lol
Madame Morrible (after Elphaba melts): Aww, they were so happy with their hearts, brains and such
Elphaba: All i wanted was something to remember her by, and those shoes were all that was left...now that wretched little farm girl has walked off with them! Must have been raised in a barn!
Glinda: Let that poor little girl go, and her cute little dog...Dodo

Elphaba: I'm the other daughter- Elphaba. I'm beautifully tragic.
Madame Morrible: Yes, yes, I'm sure you're very bright.
Galinda: Bright? She's phosphorescent!

Memorable lines from Wicked --
"Ladies and gentelmen of the audience, Idina Menzel fell through a trap door"
"ladies and gentlemen, idina Menzel will NOT be appearing at this performance of Wicked" *insert shrieking 12 year olds and stalkers*

Yeah, but it was all worth it when she came on in a sweatsuit... I heart her.

Cause we're tired of hearing about Wicked. New year, new show. Come on people!
We know how great it is. We know the lines are "quirky". We know, we know, we know. Sorry, Derek, if our "dumb comments" offend/make you mad/whatever. Get over it.

Here's my nice comment for the year-
Wicked has good visuals. Great costume and set design.
There. I'm done.

I also dont understand why Broadwayguy makes stupid comments about Wicked. He may have hated the show, but he doesnt need to make jokes about an actor's safety. When she fell, she could have been paralyzed. I'm sure broadwayguy would have found that funny as well.

I mean we're not looking to argue, just discuss one of our favorite shows, thats all

Hey- I like the show a lot too but I think it's getting (wait- it got there a long time ago) to be a little much. You can like the show and not be obsessed and post every day about it.

o i agree with you, some people are a little "over-the-top" but you (not "you") still shouldnt be mean to them or performers. The majority of us on this site have never done a broadway show probably, let alone be the lead. i just dont think we should make comments about things we dont know thats all :)

Not to be rude, but if you don't want to read about Wicked don’t open the post. Seems easy to me!! There are many posts I don't open cause I'm not interested in the subject. I really don't understand why all the people that don't want to discuss Wicked keep opening the posts. I say if discussing Wicked is what you want to do... go for it! This is a broadway messsage board after all.

But if all you want to discuss is Wicked, there are plenty of All-Wicked, All-the-time message boards.

To be fair, the Wicked postings are way out of control, but you have to keep in mind it is the hottest show on Broadway right now, and people are going to see the show, and then talk about what they thought. There is no problem with that, just keep it to one or two threads guys!

Actually, with Idina gone, it's not the hottest show. That's my opinion.
