Matthew Pietras, the recently-deceased assistant to wealthy families, seems to have used stolen money to ingratiate himself into New York City arts circles over several years, as well as to get a table at the Kit Kat Klub.
“On Broadway, he received a producing credit on the chic 2024 production of “Cabaret.”
He is listed about halfway down the co-producer list. I suppose he presented himself as an investor with “his own” money rather than as a bundler using his boss’s money. I wonder if the Soros family were invited to opening night?
