TLC Musical, New Adaptations of DAMN YANKEES and PAL JOEY Will Play Arena Stage

FYI, Lola isn’t a Latina in DAMN YANKEES. She puts on that Latin spitfire persona when she tries to seduce Joe during “Whatever Lola Wants.” Any actress can play the role. Her heritage is never addressed and has never been played with Hispanic implications, like Rose in BYE BYE BIRDIE.

In that case I could see a Paloma Garcia

I have read this among the comments over the years also. Broadly and varied enough that there’s got to be truth to it.

There’s a long history with this, and a strong divide on both sides of the accusations, most of which can be pieced together by reading news stories from over the last 8 years.

As of now, Craig McLachlan, the actor accused of inappropriate workplace conduct in 2014/2015 has removed himself from the upcoming Australian tour of Cluedo (the Hunter Foster-associated Clue, just under a different title) due to theatre industry anger and backlash over his employment.

The link shouldn’t be paywalled but if so, many other outlets are reporting on it under the same key words in a search engine.

Court document with full details about the main accusations.

She also doesn't really seem to understand the melody, in "Would he listen", the "would" and "he" can never be the same note, which is what she does."

Congrats, highly effective trolling. I figured that simply stating that I'm hearing a difference would lead to nothing. So I went as far as using Praat to make an autocorrelogram of the part in question.

Unfortunately the "he" is too short to settle on a specific pitch. What I can say though is that the "he" is at least 2 semitones higher than the "would". And that's what I'm hearing as well.

If someone can point me to place where I can upload a video or gif without much hassle I should be able to provide receipts. Alternatively, just use your ears.

It may well be higher but still flat in the scheme of things.

Dylan Mulvaney Show Cancelled?

Tony Marion is definitely Robin to various Batmans (Batmen?) but he does take excellent photos of his pals. I hope they offer to return to favor now and then, as he captures them all very well.

Thanks for this. I loved this on Broadway, and saw it three times all up. I’ve never seen Jaws but love “inside looks” at anything even I don’t know the cultural property at all. But I think it was too sentimental to do well on Broadway with wider audiences. It would be great as a Netflix movie.

My only problem was Alex Brightman who isn’t really transformative in anything he does (that I’ve seen anyway) and so Dreyfuss was pretty unrecognizable which was a shame. Colin Donnell was brilliant, as was Shaw. Great design, direction, and the perfect run time.

I’m excited to see the Dreyfuss actor in this filmed version and get a look at what might be done with the role.

If Dylan is going into Six at the oracle suggests, it might be the reason why.

Wow. Just saw their instagram video. That moment goes in the Sutton and Hugh basket for me, totally against the integrity of the piece and contrary to the all-knowing persona of Patrick Bateman, all for a cheap laugh.

On the night I went, all of it was general admission, so would advise getting there earlier if you’re in a larger group or want specific seats. Having said that, the venue is small and sight lines everywhere are good. The cast is stellar and clearly having a good time."

Thanks for this report, very interesting to read!

I wonder if the interest earned from those amounts gets paid equally to investors when they get their share, or if the general partners have it arranged so that they keep it.

Ceilidh - musical in Baltimore - anyone seeing it?
 Sep 12 2025, 04:12:22 PM

Supposedly it opened in the last couple of days but I can’t see any reviews online. Seems to be being performed in a flat, square event space (a former bank) as opposed to a theatre according to the clips on Instagram. Not sure what their long term plan is, as the space seems very specific.

Anyone going? Or been? Looks like there are tickets available for all performances but the seating chart doesn't show the exact seats remaining, just sections labeled General Admission.

Because it shows how tolerant the left is about ANYTHING. We all know it.

Watch as the left and the right become the invert of their cliche selves.
