Sharon, just a correction. Tickets actually go on sale to the General Public on Tuesday March 16th at 10:00 am Mountain Standard Time.

Broadway...Michael does often refer to his "other half" and "partner" who is a female. He spoke about her on a radio interview that he just did last Saturday on WKOSY in Salt Lake. So, pick your rumor...

At any rate, it doesn't matter. Go see him in concert in SLC and enjoy!

"D.
Tickets go on sale Friday March 16 at 10:00 a.m. Mountain time You go girl"

Actually, that day is incorrect. The tickets go on sale on TUESDAY, March 16, 10 a.m. mountain time.

Thank you one and all! I've been on pins and needles waiting for this news. I think might just join the fan club if they will be able to get tickets before hand.

I can't get on the fan club board right now. I guess it's jammed with all the fans. Michael Ball Concerts in Salt Lake City

Whew! I was really starting to get worried there.

Thank you all once again!

If you haven't heard Michael Ball sing live before you will be blown away by his voice.

Absolutely agree Lily White. The recordings don't do him justice (as wonderful as they are!)

Should be a real treat to hear him sing with the Tabarnacle Choir as well.

Here's hoping this is the first of many concert appearances in the US.

Did I read somewhere that this particular even will be televised and/or on radio?

kec, yes "Music and The Spoken Word" is broadcast via television and radio worldwide. If you go onto the MTC website and click on the link for "M&TSW", you can find out which stations are broadcasting the show by geographic area. Unfortunately, I think the website only lists stations in the US and Canada. I found that one of my local TV stations broadcasts the show...at 4:30am!

In the meantime, Michael is now in Australia doing a series of concerts as well...then the SUNSET BOULEVARD Concert in Ireland...before the concerts at SLC.

It's going to be a pretty busy first half for Mr. Ball !

The information posted in this message thread was the information intended for the GENERAL PUBLIC. I do not make it a practice to violate a trust by posting information that was not intended for anyone other than FAN CLUB MEMBERS. Whether or not I agree with the ticket policy is not the issue. If certain, privileged information is entrusted to me, I don't pass it along. I have very little respect for people who see nothing wrong with violating that trust.

Please allow me to say something here and not to offend anyone but...

I do not normally join fan clubs for reasons that are my own. I spotted and read the information for "Fan Club Members Only" posted on the WestEnd (sister to this) board before I reported it to Rob.

I could have used the information and tried to buy the tickets without being a member of the club and I gave it a great deal of thought to do just that. Instead, I have chose to join the club (much as it goes against what I believe) because I do not feel it either fair or right to take that information away from people who joined the club for just such privileges.

What Kec posted was PUBLIC information that could have been found elsewhere on the net or by phone call. She did nothing wrong in posting that information here. I would have done the very same thing. PRIVATE club information is another matter.

I can also understand that the club information may have been given with no harm intended—someone thought they were doing a good thing for fellow fans and that thought (while wrong IMHO) was a kind one. I would have happily waited for the tickets that were going on sale to the general public knowing full well that had I joined the club, I would have had a better chance at getting a better seat.

I only wonder how many other non-members who read that information will do the same out of respect for Mr. Ball, the club members and themselfs.
