Michelle Federer and Erin Mackey's last, did anyone go?

Was anyone at Michelle and Erin's final performance? I think this was the last time that Michelle will ever play Nessa. I don't know about Erin though.

There's no need to specify that the show is Wicked. Anyone who reads these boards and/or attended their last performance will know.

Michelle Federer and Erin Mackey's last, did anyone go?

Hi all...I'm brand new to the site and just signed up today. I was so glad that I found this link and I hope that I'm posting it properly since.

I was at the show last night...1/10/10 for Erin Mackey and Michelle Federer's last performance. I've seen Wicked a bunch of times on Broadway and it was literally the best performance i've seen. I was in the nosebleed section ZZ seat 19 but everyone in the show was just so on point. maybe it had to do with it being their last show and people's friends/family were in the audience? Perhaps it was where i was sitting too...maybe there were more speakers or something. But anyway...defying gravity was obviously amazing and Dee nailed it. Everyone was super energetic and with crystal clear and strong singing.

No major funny or crazy unscripted moments. Erin started doing this thing when they first meet the wizard and the big head is yelling at them....she started bowing towards it and elphie is just staring at her and goes "what is that? what are you doing?". That was a moment i'd never seen before. Nothing crazy during popular either.

The best scene was For Good and I don't know how they made it through. Throughout the whole show the two of them are hitting the high notes like it's nothing and then this song pop ups and Dee is coming out of character and looking away from Erin and the audience to wipe her face with both hands....someone said "oh my gosh i can't do this" really softly and all teary and stuffy from crying but im not sure who. Real real real tears and the emotion through the audience was electrical.

Erin and Michelle both got flowers at the end but nobody spoke about them leaving....which i was a little upset about but i maybe all shows don't do that.

hope you all like this. it's my first time ever posting something in my 25 years so let me know if i did it wrong. and i guess feel free to ask questions about the show to jog my memory! thanks so much!!!!
