The "site that dare not speak it's name" has a whole bunch of clips from "Mikhail Baryshnikov on Broadway" on it!
Having read that he's going to be doing something soon and how he did Kafka's "Metmorphises" a while back, I was wondering:
Was there ever any talk of him doing a musical? Back in the day, I mean.
Do you think that he could still pull one off?
Anybody have any ideas for one?

how old is he now?
I know he and Liza did some show or taping where she sang and he danced to a lot of Broadway material....I remember something with Oklahoma...don't quote me

A&E used to air all the time that special: BARYSHNIKOV ON BROADWAY, as well as Lena Horne's one-woman Broadway show LENA HORNE: THE LADY & HER MUSIC and those 2 late 70's Liza Minnell/Goldie Hawn Specials.

Posted: 3/17/07 at 11:06pmMisha rarely performs anymore (I think he said in a Charlie Rose interview, a few months a year). I doubt he could perform 8 shows a week.

Posted: 3/17/07 at 11:09pmNot to mention that A&E used to run in constant rotation that old Streisand/Minnelli special Some Enchanted Evening. For some reason, you never see that anymore.
