This makes it sound like the rumors of her coming to Broadway were unfounded.

I can't imagine someone  already dealing with vocal cord issues to want perform Sally Bowles nightly in the manner that the current production asks of actresses.

She’s about to release a new album. I don’t think replacing in a show would be the smartest use of her time.
