My only expericne with ITW is the dvd of the original broadway version, which I love. When reading an article on broadway.com today it said that Chad Kimball played Milky White in the revival.
Was the staging changed for the revival or am I crazy and did not notice a human playing milky white in the dvd?

yes yes the revival had Chad Kimball in a "Cow Suit." He was really adorable as Milky White.

You're not seeing things. In the original cast, Milky White was an object, in other words, not played by an actor or an actress.

Did he have lines and a song? Did you like it better than the object of milky white?
I'm not sure since I only saw the original, but my friend said it was hysterical having a person play the cow. I never thought to ask if there were lines or a song.

no he never spoke and he never sang...but his body language gave Milky White a personality which was fabulous! I thought having Milky White as an object was funnier, but I love Chad Kimball...so he was wonderful too!

Ha! I never realized what that was. My goodness, that must have been amusing. :)
he was the sexiest "cow" ever
I love Chad. There was an aticle about him in one of my Playbills from a tour I saw. I can't remember wich one. I'll have to look. I think it was Beauty and the Beast, or Cinderella I really don't remember, but it was cute.
