I have a few as well -
The act one finale of Sunday in the Park when the cast recreates the Painting A Sunday Afternoon - absolutely brilliant!
The opening of Sunset Blvd - when there is discovered a man floating dead in a swimming pool. Also from sunset - when Norma's car drives up Sunset Blvd and into the Paramount Gates - this set was incredible.
When Chitty flew - I actually teared up a bit. LOL!
Many moments in Dreamgirls - I am Changing, the finale (hard to say goodbye).

-Javert's Suicide in Les Miz.
-The Fall of Saigon in Miss Saigon.
-Finale from Cabaret.
-Say It Somehow from The Light in the Piazza. (Though, I don't know why.)

There are so many -
Final scene of Phantom of the Opera when the three leads sing three different melodies
"A Shooting Star" in Mary Poppins when she flies out over the audience
"Passeggiata" "Light in the Piazza" "Octet" "Clara's Interlude" from Light in the Piazza
"This Is The Hous" from Miss Saigon
"With One Look" when performed by Elaine Paige in Sunset Blvd
The Swan Lake dance in Billy Elliot
"Once Before I Go" from The Boy From Oz
"If My Friends Could See Me Now" when Christina was silhouetted by the red light painting
"Astonishing" from Little Women, when Sutton starts singing "...Here I go..."
"You Can't Stop The Beat" from Hairspray - I've never been so excited by a large ensemble dancing so well together
"The Wizard And I" when Shoshana started singing, "...that's all to do with MEEEEE"
"Defying Gravity" with Shoshana, Stephanie or Idina
"Eliza's Entrance" in the recent National Theatre production of My Fair Lady - it was so subtle, unlike the grand orchestration in the film
I think that's enough from me,

Ah yes, Say it somehow from Light in the Piazza. I get goosebumps from that too.
And in the POTO film, at the very beginning when the chandelier lifts up, and all the colour fills the screen. That is goosebumpy!

-Act 1 closer of Sunday "On an ordinary..SUNDAY" and the bells chime and the silence following as the painting descends, its just too beautiful
-Obviously gotta say Defying Gravity, it just has too much going on for it to not be chillworthy
-The finale of Assassins
-Maria Friedmans final "I close my eyes" is just so powerful and after seeing how things were righted its just such a great moment
-"I'm Here" from The Color Purple is so powerful and emotionally exciting
-The last part to "Theres Always Me" from ASU
-When Sweeney rises in the opening of Sweeney Todd and the strings pick up and everything is just coming to a creepy climax that doesnt stop
Thats perhaps like 10% from things I've seen in shows that just made me go numb

Obviously, some spoilers ahead:
Pretty much everything in Sweeney Todd (especially the John Doyle production). "Not While I'm Around", when Michael Cerveris says "Welcome to the grave!" during "Epiphany", and Manoel Felciano's entire performance at the end of the new revival.
"I'll Cover You" after Angel's death, in Rent
"Sunday" in Sunday in the Park with George. That, and the ending.
So many moments in "Ragtime". "What Kind of Woman", the funeral sequence, "We Can Never Go Back to Before"...
I have goosebumps throughout most of "Passion"
Gavroche's death in "Les Miserables". I first saw it when I was 9 years old, and that scene completely shook me to the core.
I'm not the world's biggest Wicked fan, but I have to admit, "Defying Gravity" is MADE to create goosebumps.

Well, Defying Gravity of course. That and the end of the All Shook Up first act. During both songs (Starting during "So if you care to find me.." and "take my hand.." plus the orchestra before both ar incedible) I found myself just bellowing tears, unlike the normal sniffle sniffle type of thing.
Also La Vie Boheme in Rent always gives me goosebumps. Just because the music is so fun and just makes me want to keep going in life.

Posted: 1/24/06 at 3:41pmThe part in Miss Saigon when Kim sings "OH TAM HE'S HERE. HE IS HERE, I SO NEAR WE MIGHT BREATHE THE SAME AIR TONIGHT, YOUR FATHERS HERE" during "Please". It is amazing. Also in Sweet Charity when the lights go down at the end of "If they could see me now" and she starts to dance.

My biggest one, and not mentioned yet. Posible Urinetown Spoilers...
In "I See a River", when Lockstock says, "What is was always waiting to be!" and the whole chorus comes in, "This is URINETOWN!!!" Chills everytime.
Also, In Move On from Sunday... "And the light, moving on."

This one is very specific, but so true.
When dot and george face the park-goers at the end of act 2 of Sunday in the Park with George and all of his subjects bow to him and Dot. It is such a beautiful moment in that show...

When the music starts at the very beginning of the Defying Gravity scene in Wicked - just after "Yes your Ozness!" and the few notes just after "I'll match them in renown" - and of course "it's me" as she rises. Nothing can compare to the first time seeing that, but listening back still makes me shiver :)
And a new one, from the new musical Dusty - after the funeral when the young Mary O'Brien "introduces" the Dusty Springfield that will live on as long as there is music, and we're launched into You Don't Have to Say You Love Me. GAWD.

In Little Shop when Audrey starts singing "Suddenly Seymour he purified me..." Then in Les Miserables the entire song One Day More and then during A Little Fall of Rain, when Eponine sings "I'll sleep in your embrace at last..." Also during the finale when everybody sings "Will you join in our crusade..." And lastly in Millie during Gimme Gimme, "Gimme that thing called love I want it Here I am St Valentine..."
