There's an item on the Broadway.com blog about it. I guess Sh-K-Boom is doing it, which should save it from the Lestat CD fate.

Ran into Will Chase this afternoon and asked about it....he said it's definately being recorded and released.

The poor cast is still reeling from the news of closing, most aren't really taking it too well.

Will said they're going into the studio next week.

I spoke to Tom Kitt he said they will be recording a cast album in January which will be available a few months afterwards.

Wait, is this show planning to tour?
I don't see too much reason to record it other than to preserve the score...

Lestat was recorded under Mercury Records, I believe.

And I totally agree with you CurtainPullDowner about Jenn. She has a wonderful voice and is an incredible performer...I really hope she can find a hit show sometime soon. She deserves it.
