I know there are TONS of other songs out there, I am just too lazy to think of them...

but I have to say that all of the three powerhouse songs in Wicked (The Wizard and I, Defying Gravity and No Good Deed) are all pretty powerful...especially in the context of the show.

Also, "Is Anybody There?" from 1776. It makes me proud to be an American when I hear that song lol.

I think "This Nearly Was Mine" is a powerful song
I also think "Around the World" and "Another Winter in a Summer Town" are powerful
and "Do You Hear the People Sing" I must admit has its desired effect on me. (It moves me)

"A birdcage I plan to hang. I'll get to that someday. A birdcage for a bird who flew away...Around the world." "Life is a cabaret old chum, only a cabaret old chum, and I love a cabaret!"-RIP Natasha Richardson-I was honored to have witnessed her performance as Sally Bowles.
