What's wrong with seeing Nipples?

Well, usually nothing I suppose is wrong with it. But in the context of the show, I felt it almost degrading...and didn't fit...I can't really explain it. Sorry for the lack of insight.

For years i always thought Florence Klotz did the most sumptuous costumes (Follies,Night Music) and Theoni V. Aldredge did the most stylish. i think William Ivey Long is now #1 for Style.
