What song do you think is the most over done in general---
I say:
Tomorrow- Annie
New York, New York- Liza Minelli
What Ever Lola Wants- Damn Yankees
What are ones you can think of?

Memory
Memory..no questions asked...if you want a great example of this watch the movie Jersey Girl lol
On My Own. gosh, I wanna rip my hair out whenever I hear this song too many times. Like when that one girl sang it on Dawson's Creek.
And by "sang it", you mean "lip-synced so badly that Ashlee Simpson wouldn't tap that", right?
Memory! Who hasn't sung it? Even Michael Crawford recorded it!
DEFINANTLY "ON MY OWN" or "Roxy" an/or "All that JAZZ"
"Bring Him Home" is the "On My Own" for men. I must have it on 15 different solo albums.
"What I Did For Love" was absolutely inescapable in the 1980's.
Do-Re-Mi
Seasons of Love
Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again
Don't Cry for Me Argentina
This Is the Moment
I Dreamed a Dream
Any of the ones sung by the contestants on American Idol
Tomorrow
On My Own
I love how there are some songs that will _never_ leave this list. I wonder what people will think of musical theatre a hundred years from now based only on these songs.
Oh, and I'll add Send In the Clowns, one of the few overdone songs I still enjoy.

As Long As He Needs Me
What I Did For Love

All that Jazz
we had a talent show last year, and basically every girl auditioned with this song.
Without question, All That Jazz. Not just now, but since the original Chicago opened.
Memory or pretty much an Pantom song. Whenevr I talk to someone that doesn't know about a lot of great musical theater they always start singing Memory or the Phantom of the opera.
