Thats a beautiful song I find myself listening to quite a lot. especially since the entire show is so damn nice to listen to, even though a lot of people dont really like it, but I think that it was issues with the book

A lot of songs from The Last 5 Years were the first thing that came to my mind when I read the subject, and then "Without You" and "I'll Cover You (reprise)" from Rent, and almost all of the stuff from Light in the Piazza. Those are just the first that come to my mind.

Hmm... The first one that comes to mind tonight is "On My Own" from Les Miserables. It's so beautiful yet so honest that it's painful. Gives me chills every time.

I hate to keep repeating but Aida has amazing songs, including "Enchantment Passing Through" and "I Know the Truth".
The Last 5 Years has "Still Hurting" and "If I Didn't Believe in You".
The Last 5 Years has "Still Hurting" and "If I Didn't Believe in You".
1. Ted Allen: Everyone has an interesting life if you ask the right questions.
2. Great buckets of Spoffnor, they're going to sing!
3. "I love shrubs that are historical." -Johnny and The Sprites
4. "We're not singing it to you, we're singing it for us." -Rosario Dawson, about La Vie Boheme
5. "The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours." -The History Boys
6. "Pass the parcel. That's sometimes all you can do. Take it, feel it and pass it on. Not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day. Pass it on, boys. That's the game I want you to learn. Pass it on." -The History Boys

Johanna- Sweeney Todd
This is the first song that came to my mind. Its heartbreaking...
Others:
Make Them Hear You
Move On
Being Alive
Not a Day Goes by
No one is Alone (I cry all the time when I hear this song from beginning to end...without fail!)

Tell me On A Sunday always makes me cry. I will never forget the first time I heard Bernadette Peters sing it in Song and Dance. She had a terrible cold and so performed that night with a box of tissues in hand. When she finished "Tell Me On A Sunday", she could have passed out tissues to the entire audience . We were all sobbing.
