I decided to be crazy and take the guy who works at the deli across the street from my apartment to see his first Broadway show. I have known him for over 10 years and after telling him I saw a show yesterday, he mentioned he had never seen one in the 20+ years he's been in NYC. My heart melted.

I want to pick the as-perfect-as-I-can seats for this but I'm an indecisive Gemini. Which would you buy? -

Left Orch Row G 1-3

Right Orch Row H 2-4

Left Mezz C 13-15

Right Mezz K 2-4

*When I saw the show, I sat in Left Mezz K 1-3 and thought it was a really great view. But that was me seeing the show after seeing it twice in Boston from the front center orchestra so it wasn't my first time / wasn't concerned about missing bits here and there. I'm so neurotic that I'm having thoughts like, "I don't know this guy's vision and whether if we sit in the Mezz if he'll be able to even see anything clearly!"

Please help! kiss

I have sat in Orch H 2-4. They were great seats. I would have preferred a couple more rows back as there is a lot to take in.

Also sat in Orch K 1-3 which I liked a little more than H. But you can't go wrong with H. :)

I think this show works best when it's an immersive experience. As long as your seats aren't partial view (because there are some VERY partial view seats in that theatre), I say go close!

Thank you so much! I cant remember the show well enough - since it's been almost three years since I've seen it! - but do you have an opinion on whether left or rich orch is better in terms of what happens on stage? I dont recall the scenes that take place on the extreme sides just below the staircases - like I recall one between Zidler and The Duke maybe. Basically, is there a side of the orch that you think is preferable since you sat in both or does it not really matter? THANKS!

If you're treating the guy across the street to a show (for free) and it's his first show, I'm pretty sure he'll be appreciative at any seat location. That said, partial view is VERY partial so avoid any far side orchestra.

Orch G or H, 2/4 or 1/3 would be absolutely PERFECT. I have sat on both the left and right side (most recently I was F 2/4/6 with friends) and I would recommend the left orch over the right. Just a personal preference. Can’t go wrong with either, though!

Since both Hairspray and Huss seemed to like the left orch more than the right, Orch G 1-3 it is!

Thank you all so much!

Both sides are fine but If I had the choice I would choose left so you should be fine. :)
