Music Man and Ticketmaster

Was not too happy to see The Music Man will be a Ticketmaster event-  as is The Cher Show at the Neil Simon. That means resale tickets given to the Ticketmaster scalpers- with outrageous prices- I bet 500 and up for good orchestra seats- I wish it was on Telecharge- where seats are not resale and where you can buy decent seats at fair prices without dealing with scalpers. Very disappointed- and probably I will not see it- I was really hoping it would not go to Ticketmaster.

Where did you see this? The show will be in a Shubert house, which means it will be a Telecharge event.

I just checked- sorry it seems it will be playing in a Shubert house- and will be a Telecharge event if that is the case. My friend sent me the info- and it seems it is wring- good- I really do want to see what Jackman can do with this- I bet it will be excellent.  Seems Music Man was last on BWAY in 2001 at the Neil Simon. SORRY FOR THAT.

I actually think if the Shuberts invest in telecharge, we may see some sort of resale feature on telecharge in the future. Right now, stubhub is getting all the resale profits from telecharge/shubert houses.
