Walcer, your musical (at least its story) sounds really interesting.
are you writing music/lyrics/book?
I'd love to hear anything from it...PM me if you'd like an opinion or anything...

"uhm... "Walk Two Moons" was done last year by Theaterworks USA, and it was fantastic."

Really?

Yes. Summer 2005 at the Lortel - I believe it was the first production they did there as part of their new New York season. I saw a press preview and it was a wonderful show. It got a terrific review in the Times and did quite well.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

These are interesting musical ideas. However, Mattbrain and other thread readers, there has been a musical about a high school reunion- in the 80s. It was called "Is There Life After High School" with music and lyrics by Craig Carnelia. I think it was considered a flop (too intimate for Broadway?)... so I'm not sure that that theme will come up on Broadway again. But the recording is excellent.

I've always liked the idea of "Saint Joan" as a musical...same with "Hocus Pocus"

I believe there was a musical St Joan by Al Carmines

I may still have the record in my storage space if I did not sell it in one of my LP purges. I remember it was a double LP

I have two original musicals in the works. I have posted some songs from them around the boards. In fact right now me and one of my collaberators are deep into smoothing out the book for one of them.

There have actually been several musical adaptations of the Joan of Arc story. I remember remember Richard Ouzinian dedicated an entire hour of his radio show Say It With Music to the subject when he was still on the air.

It has always been a story that I loved though...and would be interested in doing my own take on it.

I wish I could discuss my shows, there isn't enough time in a day to go through it all. I know, I know, you're supposed to have your pitch reduced to one sentence... and I've done that, and there are sites explaining it, but I don't want to go into it now lol

The St. Louis project (correct?) sounds positively fascinating and I'd love to hear music from it

Think I'm still gonna give it a shot.
