I have seen lots of musicals and loved Jersey Boys and Billy Elliot Matilda. I would love to see some more but really want to see some more plays. I am really bummed I will miss out on Shakespeare and Fun Home. But I am looking forward to coming in June. Is there any new plays that I should be looking at??? I am also have an interest in musicals. But having seen over 10 musicals I do want to limit it it to the best. I am not interested in pop singers or hollywood stars. I am only keen on NYT tick plays and musicals or ones that you really suggest. I would love to see Rocky and Bullets but not sure about After Midnight which looks like dancing rather than a full musical.
any suggestions???

I'm confused... it seemed to me that you were interested in getting some suggestions for plays (non-musicals), but all of the options you listed are musicals. Are you using "plays" as in live theater, or as in non-musical theater? Please advise and once that's cleared up, perhaps I can suggest something.
Also, tell us a little more about yourself and your tastes.
^ what he said. (and are you coming in June or April?)

I am afraid it would be boring without a plot (after midnight)
Oh ok. Because whatchamacalit, I just said it was amazing.
See WICKED. If you've already seen it, see it again.
