I think Adam tells us that Eve dies at the end of "The Diary of Adam and Eve."

I think this is a bit off, don't you? There are probably less musicals in which people die than in which people don't.

That said, apart from Annie and Joseph, I think people have died in all the musicals I've been in.

The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
