no one dies in les miz, right?
hahaha, i'm kidding. =P
all are alive at the close of:
once upon a mattress
funny girl [i believe]
the sound of music
annie
meet me in st.louis
the last 5 years
the light in the piazza
on the town
singin' in the rain
flower drum song
i haven't seen it, but the drowsy chaperone?
there are a ton of musicals where no one dies.

a whole heckuva lotta people died in Rodgers and Hammerstein shows. It's like Dickens. He counted all the letters he got each week and when the number fell below a certain level (known only him) he killed a child.
And then readership soared again....

Annie Get Your Gun (okay there's the mention of Dolly and Winnie's mom lying on her death bed, but as someone pointed out, it's so easy for there to be a brief message of someone being bed, an old person's parent or something.
Grease
The Last 5 Years
The Pajama Game (I think...)
