What are some plays or musicals with a huge emotional payoff its in conclusion?
This is all subjective, of course, but Fun Home and Sunday in the Park with George were the first that came to mind.

Not sure if that's the exact line, but I LOVE the beautiful ending of THE SECRET GARDEN.

Act 2 of Into the Woods hits you like a ton of bricks.
The end of Sunday in the Park with George is also extremely emotional.
Falsettos is another show that really gets the waterworks going.
