Hello! My HS Director has given a hint that our musical for next year requires confetti. If y’all can comment what musicals “require confetti” that’d be great!

Can you ask in what way confetti is used? If it’s for like a celebratory thing at the end of the show, then the possibilities are endless.

Saw the worst American Idiot at a regional theatre in Columbia, SC. They shot confetti at the audience at the end of the show. And that pretty much sums up the night of foa-theatre kids thrashing around doing stolen staging in hot topic shirts: inadapt of tone and self masturbatory for the production team/cast.

The current revival of Hello Dolly! had confetti canons the first time I saw it (third preview) that have since disappeared.
Spamalot had confetti.

Hamilton had confetti from “It’s Quiet Uptown” through the end of the show.

Every single time I see a show at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle, they always shoot out confetti at the end, especially for "Romy and Michele" and "Mamma Mia!".
And tell your janitor that I feel sorry for him.... :/
