Hi! I'm new here, but I feel like I'm among old friends already! This message board is the best! Long live Broadway! Musicals you wish were on CD

Anyways, I'd like to know what unrecorded shows and musicals that have never been put on CD would you like to have on CD? As you can tell by my signature, I REALLY want Decca Broadway to put the hit gospel musical "Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope" on CD. I also wish there was a studio recording of "Love Life", "By Jupiter" and "DuBarry Was a Lady". I have other shows in mind, but I'd like to hear everyone else's opinion.

Praying Decca Broadway will put "Don't Bother Me, I Can't Cope" on CD!

I would have liked to have had the recent Follies revival on CD, I loved those performances by Blythe Danner and Gregory Harrison.

I'd also like The Adventures of Tom Sawyer on CD...not an excellent show but the song "This Time Tomorrow" I'd love to have a real recording of to listen to.

Oh, and Putting it Together. I know there's the Julie Andrews version, but I'd love the Broadway Cast to have recorded it. There was a hell of a lot of talent in that show.

And hang on, when did you win the discus?

I wish that they had the French Canadian cast of "Romeo et Juliette" on CD. And I hope that they put the Russian and Hungarian casts on CD.

I also wish that the video cast of CATS was on CD.

I know it's been said before, but I would love at least a studio cast recording of CARRIE. Whatever the merits of the show were, it did have some beautiful music buried in it.
Also...Oliver with Patti Lupone

I wish there was a recording of Raul Esparza in Cabaret, and Chuck Wagner in Jekyll and Hyde.

"Enter the Guardsman". I've heard 'private recordings' of it, but I don't think there's an actual circulating CD.

I have it on DVD but I wish it was on CD: Putting it Together 2001 (with Carol Burnett, George Hearn, Ruthie Henshall, Bronson Pinchot, and John Barrowman). Not to mention, I'd love to have a recording of Tick..Tick..BOOM! with Joey McIntyre instead of Raul Esparza. He was so much better!

Inner City ran on Broadway. As a matter of fact, Linda Hopkins won the Tony for Featured Actress in a Musical which was the show's only nomination that year.
