matt, that is helarious mostly because I could actually see it working...however, the understudies don't go on almost as much as kermit and piggy, sorry, but they don't.

Jerry Orbach is a very talented Broadway actor. I saw him in 42nd Street in the 80's. He is finished with Law and Order and I think he does like Broadway. You haven't seen the last of him yet.

That's true. Back to the bashing. I think Miss Piggy is an inspired choice, actually. I can totally hear her singing those high notes, especially after that number she does in the dream sequence in The Muppet Movie.
