My saucy thread was deleted!

Now, I don't think I was VERY out of line.

It WAS Broadaway related!

(I wanted to know what shows have had dating - or otherwise 'involved' co-stars or co-cast members etc. in the spirit of Sutton's boyfriend being in MILLIE and Mrs. & Mrs. Diggs in WICKED)!

Maybe it was deleted because it's really somewhat inappropriate.

Any more inappropriate than the musings on here of chorus boys' sexual orientations?

Hume and Jessica!
Gower and Marge Champion
Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward

Also, Kim Crosby and Robert Westenburg got married after meeting during "Into the Woods" (sometimes Cinderella really does get her prince...).

Barbra Streisand and Elliot Gould met during "I Can Get it For You Wholsale," though they were not married until after it closed.

Blake Edwards directed wife Julie Andews in "Victor Victoria."

Bob Fosse directed/choreographed wife Gwen Verdon and girlfriend Ann Reinking in numerous productions.

re: re: re: re: re: My saucy thread was deleted!

Betty Bacall & Harry Guardino had a very noisy romance during WOMAN OF THE YEAR.

I did get a message from Rob telling me that the reason it was delted was that it had degenerated into a tangled, steamy morass of unfounded gossip and scandalous, gasp-inducing blind items, and were deemed innapropriate to a such a wholesome family-oriented site as this.

"Gasp-inducing"? I'm glad I got see at least part of the thread before it went. Sadly, I bet the statements that Taye Diggs got the job in WICKED because his wife was the star weren't the remarks that caused the gasps.

Well, I guess I'm the one to blame because I wrote the blind items.

I guess they're ok only in Musto's column.

Wasn't there a Burton/Taylor PRIVATE LIVES that was apparently a car wreck?
