I saw the show for the second time on Friday night. I sat in mezz row H and thought it was a perfect view of the stage (even better than orchestra L, where I sat my first time at the show). It was amazing and powerful again, and it was really neat to notice little things the actors did differently. It was interesting to me that both times I've seen it, the people next to me are unaware of the shocker in the middle of act one and asked what is going on! It really seems pretty clear to me but I think some people do miss it.

All the cast was in top form- Alice was incredible and heartwrenching and her voice sounded great, although it seems her performance is so transcendent in itself that I don't find myself thinking about her actual technique or anything much... it's more like, "Omigod, I'm so moved by her emotion" than "She sounds fierce!" because you really get so invested in her character's struggle. J. Robert Spencer was excellent too and seemed to give Dan an angrier edge than I saw the first time. Aaron Tveit was stunning and I still think he was robbed- I cannot tear my eyes away from him when he's onstage, and not just because he's gorgeous- he just has an absolute pure electricity about him.

Jennifer Damiano was on fire- I was impressed by her the first time, but this time, it almost felt like she was the main character at times. She was exponentially more incredible at this performance (despite being amazing the first time)! "Superboy" seemed to be the biggest hit of the night by far with long and loud applause, and she was singing much louder and showing more vulnerability than I saw before. I cried a little for her character at a point where I hadn't really been moved the first time. She has such a strong, clear voice- anyone else think she could have a very Sutton Foster-esque career ahead of her? Adam Chanler-Berat was lovable and poignant and Louis Hobson was strong and reassuring. Overall, it was beautiful and I'm so glad I got to see it one more time before I move to AZ.

Ahh, yeah, he was incredible! I actually saw him walking on the street talking on his cellphone earlier in the day which was kinda cool too, haha.

You should have seen it at Second Stage when he jumped around the pole with both feet! He only did it once or twice then I think was told "keep one foot on the floor" (or he came really close to falling and scared himself) because he hasn't done it since.

Omg, he let go of the pole and jumped with both feet? Yeah, he sometimes looked like he could fall but I think it was because I was sitting so high- made me nervous though! He was very down-to-earth at the stagedoor too and seems very kind and a little reserved. I really enjoy him and the entire castre: N2N thoughts 5/29.

Oh I've said all long it makes me nervous. Especially the movable stairs as they are NOT always locked as they should be. I've seen them move WAY more than locked stairs should on more than one occasion.

Is it wrong I don't want to see N2N again until Aaron leaves, because I'll be so distracted over my anger of his non-nomination?

Haha, I think it kinda motivates him (just speculating of course)- I saw it the day Tony noms were announced and he was MANIC and electrifying (in a good way) in the role in a total "oh yeah?" to the committee... the energy wasn't as crazy Friday night but he was still amazinggg.

They were all incredibly on fire on Sat matinee as well. I was so entranced.
