rent will make it at least until the other boy band member joins the cast. honestly, im a big fan of the show, but im thinking that if its current incarnation is no good, it should not continue to run and not live up to the standards set by the original version.
and i think LSOH will be the next to go, i'd like it to make it until september, when i'd get a chance to see it, but not if that means joey fatone takes over for hunter.
I'm back from a delightful day....love to see all this witty chat....Isn't everyone on here an old queen- either male or female..or a young queen, either male or female. I hope Little shop doesn;t close cause it is a good show and good production. I think wonderful town will get a boost from the tonys and hang on until september. And i am confident Bombay Dreams will run far, far longer than either those shows, as it is a big spectacle, and with the closing of a bunch of shows including 42nd street & Aida people will be interested in seeing the new BIG SHOW....Alot of people wanna see big sets and big casts and bright colors when they are paying 100 bucks...or even 50 for that matter. Many of them have already seen Lion King and Beauty and Phantom, Bombay seems to fit right in. Also, I noticed it wasn't on TKTS last week, while most of the shows were, with the exception of the BIG ONES, AND it was among the top 10 money earners, after doing only 7 shows.
Dont you love how we all have our differences and lovely heated discussions yet once a newbie w/ an attitude comes it we all band together? now that is love .. haha

As a matter of fact, nystate, I was making fun of princessmimichica, who disappeared right before you joined. Not that I am saying you're she, I'm just saying.
If we really want to know what's next to close we only need to ask Corine. Her thumb down is the Kiss of Death for a Broadway show.
Alright you Hussys, I promised myself I wouldn't have another Mojito till Friday. So try not to rattle my nerves. I suspect Wonderful Town will go very soon. Little Shop could do very good buisness with the teenage summer crowd. And Wonderful Town has been struggling more at the boxoffice than LSOH. And Donna Murphy shot a pilot that has very good buzz so if that gets picked up she is out of there.
i only said that because you were making fun of us slightly (well, usually completely) over-the-top rent fans. and i promise that this is my first and only name on this board, though i'll be careful to not resemble anyone too much in the future, namo. after all, this board can get right crucible-like at times.
i think all RENT fans are over-the-top. You either love it or hate it! People who love RENT realize just how moving and awesome it is. Like hte set, someone was complaining that there wasnt really a set and was like "what was that metal thingy on the stage". They have to realize that the point the set is trying to make is that its NOT about the set its about the relationships and the people. OK i am done ranting. I guess i am an OVER-THE-TOP RENT fan too.

Wonderful Town needs to stay longer then September. It is a great show with a stellar score and cast. I adore the show and hope to see it a third time.
Thus is the power of the Broadway Black Widow. She can inject you with venom that strangles the life out of a show like Prymate, or in her mercy, she could chose to spare your life. She's a BBW no matter how you look at her.
it is ADAM!! god i love American Idol, but Ryan? Please.. haha. Its adam when he was on Rosie. Love this pic. will be seeing him in 8 days!! (wheres LuvTheEmcee when u need her)

TheGirlinTheFrock, is that when the cast was on or when Adam came back to sing ONE SONG GLORY?
"Noah, someday we'll talk again. But there's things we'll never say. That sorrow deep inside you. It inside me, too. And it never go away. You be okay. You'll learn how to lose things..."
