Big Arts & Leisure story today on Kristin Scott Thomas, opening this week in The Seagull. Interesting to read what she's been doing after bursting onto the scene in the '90s.
Kristin Scott Thomas
I was just thinking today how down to earth she is and yet has this beautiful, stunning aura of a classic film star.
I love her so much. I'd kill to see her in The Seagull.
I am in such a moral conundrum over this situation.
Kristin Scott Thomas is a god. Perfect in every way. One of my all-time favorite actresses, ever. And I mean, EVER.
But I absolutely ABHOR The Seagull. Worse play ever written. And I mean, EVER. As I once again confirmed to myself a year or so ago at BAM.
So, like, what am I supposed to do? [!!!!!]

well , GIZMO2 you can see her in a GREAT movie called TELL NO ONE which will cost much less than a broadway play
Now Gizmo to be fair I too saw that dreadful production of The Seagull. But that production had Romala Garai(as Nina) who was awful. I have a feeling this production is much better.
*Fun Story - When i saw the show a bunch of my friends went with me. When Nina does her {No i'm the seagull. No i am an actress, not that's not right} we all sat there thinking. No hunny you are NOT an actress.

Hi. I read a recent article on K.S.T. She did a sitdown interview with the reporter. (I forget the name of the site.) She is enormously talented, but a bit too glacial for my taste. I did love her in "Gosford Park" though. How is she responding to fans at the stage door? Just wondering..... from RC in Austin, Texas... P.S. It's autumn and 86 degrees....go figure.
She's very nice and signs Playbills if you ask.
