Name a seat at Studio 54

Roundabout's New Program: Name a seat at Studio 54. Of course, you have to have the money. And lots of it. Payable over 3 years. Half are named for every Cabaret Emcee/Sally.

Of course, if you just want to take a virtual reality tour of Studio 54, complete sound, click here:

It's only 15,000...everyone should be able to afford that!

"Fred" Done! and that didn't cost me a cent.

re: Name a seat at Studio 54

Why are some seats that are still available have names of people who acted in past shows at Studio 54 when you scroll over them, like Susan Egan and Neil Patrick Harris?

Because they paid to have their names on the seat. This isn't rocket science.

The balcony is only $1200. Aww, we should get a BroadwayWorld seat.

re: Name a seat at Studio 54

Actually, they didn't pay to put their names on it...a nice generous person with $15,000 in change will.

re: Name a seat at Studio 54

You all have it wrong.

All the seats that have the performers' names on them have the performer;s name on the armrest. Additionally, a donor could buy that seat to have their name on the actual seat.

So, for example, you could pay $15,000 for Adam Pascal's seat (or NAtasha Richardson's, etc.), and both of your names would be on it, albeit in different parts of the seat. Or you could pay for a seat that doesn't have an actor's name on it, and it would just be your seat.

So no one paid for the names of the actors to be on the armrests.

All of this information is available on the website, which is where I learned it all simply by spending two minutes reading it.

Fosse: If you read it still says those seats are available. The ones that haven't been bought are "unavailable." Go back and look at the site (if you even have...) on orchestra right around E2 and F2.

If they did buy them, I was questioning the fact as to why it was still listed as "available".

re: Name a seat at Studio 54

Aww, I love what they did with the armrests. Every Sally and Emcee totally doesn't add up to anywhere near half the seats in that house, though.

I wish I had fifteen grand floating around.

Emcee: I saw that Adam Pascal's was still available and thought to myself, if it was just a few thousand cheaper, I wouldn't put it past em to impulse buy that seat. And then be in debt. re: Name a seat at Studio 54

Yeah, just a few. re: Name a seat at Studio 54 I'd be hard pressed to choose between his and Raul's, alas. You know, with my imaginary several thousand dollars.

re: Name a seat at Studio 54

I'd like the seat farthest in on the second row. That way I can lean against the wall if the show sucks and I'm tired. Or alternately I can kick the back of Munk's chair.
