Having trouble understanding the seating chart for this show. For the Banquette seating, is it truly general admission? You pay for the space and then rush the stage for seating? Seems like a concern...right? Any advice on best seats, or if there is a detailed seating chart out there?
no, it's not general seating. they will assign seats at a later date (according to the email i received). but how would we know which seats are the best lol
They want to get inside and naked sure their current plans work before assigning actual seats.
They make their best decisions when they're naked ![]()
Don't we all? ![]()
Damn my fingers! At least this typo didn't sound sound like I was having a stroke!
NAKED= MAKE.
Thanks dmama for making my morning. I'd like to get inside and naked as well, but maybe it's better to wait until after the show.
Natasha, Pierre & The Great Seating Question could make a phenomenal sequel to Comet.
From my experience seeing this new proscenium version of the show at the ART in Cambridge in December I'd say most of the Banquettes and on stage seating are pretty much equal. The action moves around so often there may be one or two small things people in any seat miss. I was sitting in these stool seats they had right on the edge of the stage and when I started I felt my stool on the far right was pretty bad because a bar blocked some of the action on the main circle. I eventually moved to a center stool at intermission and that was a great seat. That being said I don't think the stools are part of the broadway seating design.
Here is the design at the ART.
