Totally! Every show has done a spectacular job. All of these new unique shows are like a breath of fresh air. Though, we think this one, it has gone above and beyond. At least in attempting to use each part of theater distinctively to tell it's story.

There are many - just click on "Search" and type "Natasha" or "Pierre" or "Comet," and you'll see a slew.

Thanks yo! Didn't know you could find other threads like that (can you tell we're new haha). Though it doesn't look like there is a conversation for what we're trying to talk about specifically. We want to talk about who people think should win the Tony for best musical and why. Do you have a favorite this year?

Dear Evan Hansen means the most to me, personally. Come From Away is probably the best written show, overall. And Great Comet is definitely the most enjoyable experience. I, personally, didn't enjoy Groundhog Day, but I adamantly respect the things it did. Such a hard call this season, and there's no wrong decision. Last season (even though I personally preferred Bright Star), it would've been a travesty for Best Musical to go to anything other than Hamilton. But this season, it's anyone's game. And I love that!

If there had been no year of tent shows, if Great Comet had opened last month cold after ART, there is no doubt in my mind this extraordinary show would have been a contender (meaning it would have taken the place of either Evan or Away as the "two to beat" for Best Musical). It's lovely that a show so "old" garnered as many nominations as it did.
