I just found out I will have time for one more show when I am in NYC next month. Which one should I pick?
- On Your Feet
- Allegiance
- The Color Purple (I saw the original twice when it first opened on Broadway with the OBC)
- Book of Mormon (never seen it but tickets are more expensive than I expected and it is currently on tour)
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!!!
having seen only Mormon out of these options - I would see Allegiance, if only because it's the show with the shortest life on broadway. You'll be able to say "I saw it when....."
You can see Mormon and on your feet on tour, and you've already seen TCP, so go with Lea Solonga.

I dunno. I think i would prefer On your Feet over Allegiance...having seen both. It's a hard call. You've seen Color Purple and Book of Mormon is a good choice but expensive as you said.
On the other hand..would you consider School of Rock? Such a fun show....and the original cast as well. And the kids are just phenomenal.. (and I was not a huge fan of the movie).
I really have no interest in School of Rock but thanks for the suggestion. I do feel like On Your Feet will tour sometime in the future. I was leaning toward Allegiance until the reviews starting coming out this week. I don't know if I should ignore the reviews and just see Allegiance or go with On Your Feet. I'm probably overthinking it but since I only get to NYC once a year these days, I want to make the right decision. I'm already seeing Hamilton and can't wait!
what else are you seeing - besides Hamilton?
Just Hamilton. Only in NYC for an overnight trip on a matinee day.
